Requirements

To use TrackShip for WooCommerce, there are a few requirements you’ll need to meet:

Please note that TrackShip integration with WooCommerce is designed exclusively for online stores and does not support local sites. To successfully connect your WooCommerce store with TrackShip, it must be publicly accessible on the internet. Local sites, such as those running on localhost or within private networks, cannot be connected.

Shipment Tracking Plugin

TrackShip for WooCommerce requires that you’ll use a shipment tracking plugin in your WooCommerce store to add tracking information to orders. Once you add the tracking information to the order and mark the order as Completed (Shipped) the tracking information will be sent to track on TrackShip.

TrackShip is compatible with the following shipment tracking plugins:

WooCommerce REST API enabled

To use TrackShip for WooCommerce, it’s crucial to have the WooCommerce REST API enabled in your store. The REST API provides a secure and standardized way for third-party applications like TrackShip to access your store’s data and perform actions on your behalf. TrackShip uses the WooCommerce API to update the shipment tracking status and events in your orders.

SSL Certificate

To use TrackShip for WooCommerce, it’s required that your store is protected with an SSL certificate and uses HTTPS.

Once the certificate is installed, make sure that both your WordPress Address and Site Address in WordPress > General settings are set to use HTTPS:

Pretty permalinks are required to use TrackShip and to get updates to the WooCommerce API, you can navigate to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks and make sure that you select the Post Name option. Please note that the default permalinks will not work:
